HENRY FORD WINS THE ASPEN CHALLENGE!!!!!

Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) students participated in the inaugural Aspen Challenge Detroit, where teams from over 20 high schools developed and presented solutions to real issues affecting their communities. Instead of simply competing, students spent weeks researching and designing projects focused on challenges like food insecurity, substance abuse, community safety, and student well-being. The program emphasized student voice and leadership, giving young people the tools, funding, and support to create meaningful, real-world solutions based on their lived experiences. Henry Ford High School will receive an all-expense-paid trip to the Aspen Ideas Festival in Aspen, Colorado, this June, where they will present their solutions before national audiences and festival attendees.
